Professional psychotherapy services for women struggling with maternal mental health, fertility issues, disordered eating, anxiety, depression and more.
Women face unique health challenges that are compounded by social and cultural pressures. I provide individualized, judgement-free care to help women overcome the following issues:
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis and received my Master’s Degree from Smith College. I then completed a one-year intensive training program in Cognitive Therapy at The University of Pennsylvania as well as a postgraduate training program at The Postpartum Stress Center.
My career has been deeply focused on women’s health with experience in university counseling, in-patient hospitals, residential treatment centers, and specialized facilities such as The Women’s Therapy Center.
I am currently in private practice serving clients in Florida and New York.
My approach is empathic and supportive. What is most crucial in therapy is that the therapist and client build a trustworthy relationship.
I am trained in a variety of methods, including classical psychodynamic treatment as well as Cognitive Therapy. I personalize my approach to the specific needs of each individual. Client input on what works and what doesn’t is always welcome.
